At Focused CSE Reviewer, we respect your privacy and provide you with the option to request the deletion of your personal data collected through our Android application (the “App”).

1. Scope

This policy applies to all users who have signed into the Focused CSE Reviewer app using their Google account and wish to have their personal data removed from our systems.

2. Data Covered for Deletion

Upon a verified request, we will permanently delete the following types of information associated with your account from our Firebase database:

• User Profile Data: Your custom display name and personal goals.

• Journey Board Content: All posts you have created on the Journey Board.

• App Usage & Analytics Data: All records tied to your account, which include:

  1. The timestamp of your last visit.

  2. The app version you last used.

  3. Your recent page history within the app.

• Firebase Account Record: The entire user record associated with your Firebase Authentication UID will be deleted. This action severs the link between your Google Account and your data in our App.

3. How to Request Deletion

You must request the deletion of your personal data by sending a message to our official Facebook Page Messenger:

Please use the subject line: “User Data Deletion Request” and, in your message, provide the email address of the Google account you used to sign into the App.

4. Verification

For security purposes, we must verify that you are the legitimate owner of the account before processing the deletion. We will do this by communicating with you via the email address associated with your Google account. Please ensure you have access to this email account to complete the process.

5. Processing Timeline

We will acknowledge your request within 7 business days. Once your identity is verified, we will permanently delete your data from our live systems within 30 days.

6. Limitations

• Irreversibility: Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. This action is permanent and will require you to create a new account if you wish to use the App's signed-in features again.

• Legal Retention: We may retain certain records if required to comply with legal obligations (e.g., records of transactions, fraud prevention). Any such retained data will be isolated and not used for any other purpose.

• Public Content: While we will delete your posts from our database, cached versions of content on the Journey Board may remain visible to other users for a short period until the cache is cleared.

7. Confirmation of Deletion

After your data has been fully deleted, we will send a final confirmation to the email address associated with your account.
